Often referred to as the’Godfather of Pop’, Sir Peter Blake’s images arose from a love affair with the icons of popular culture such as adverts, music hall entertainment and wrestlers combining collage, drawing and painting. It is this unique approach that has won him international fame.
Best known for his record sleeve for the Beatle’s ‘Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band’ he has also designed sleeve covers for Paul Weller, Band Aid and Oasis.
